The collaboration expands The FBA’s commitment to advancing football development in Mexico and beyond, while creating exceptional learning opportunities for FBA Master Candidates.

“We are very proud to welcome Club América into our global family as it represents a unique opportunity to enhance football’s growth in Mexico and elevate the club’s already illustrious legacy, while offering our FBA Candidates a chance to contribute to one of the most celebrated clubs in the Americas,” Said, Kristian Dobrev, Deputy CEO, The FBA

The FBA and Club América are united by a shared dedication to excellence, innovation and the evolution of the football industry. The partnership reinforces The FBA’s status as a global leader in football business education while amplifying Club América’s influence within the international football community.

Héctor González Iñárritu, President of Operations, Club América, added: “We are pleased to have established this important educational partnership with the prestigious FBA, with whom we share the goal of continuing to innovate and strengthen the growth of soccer worldwide, while continuing to promote Club América’s internationalisation strategy.”

Club América is a powerhouse in Mexican football, boasting a rich history with a record 16 Liga MX titles, 6 Copa MX championships, and 7 CONCACAF Champions League triumphs.

Based in Mexico City, the club plays its home matches at the legendary Estadio Banorte, a venue that has hosted two FIFA World Cup finals (1970 and 1986) and will host the opening game of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The strategic alliance is designed to unlock a wealth of opportunities, fostering collaboration on critical topics that benefit both The FBA and Club América.

Beyond offering FBA Master Candidates an immersive learning experience through internships, the partnership will enable Student Business Projects tailored to Club América’s strategic objectives, driving innovation and creating synergies that align with the club’s ambitious vision.
