The FBA Partners With Teammate Football Management
The Football Business Academy (FBA) has announced a partnership agreement with Teammate Football Management, the first exclusively women’s football representation agency in Portugal.
Founded in 2021 by former player and FIFA Licensed Agent, Raquel Sampaio, Teammate Football Management specialises in representing female football players and coaches, offering a wide range of services such as career management, contract negotiation, sponsorship acquisition and personal branding strategies.
Through this collaboration, both entities aim to create learning experiences in football representation and management for our Master Candidates, while benefiting from the extensive connections The FBA has built within the industry.
“We are delighted to join forces with Teammate Football Management, whose vision for empowering women in football resonates deeply with our values,” said, Nicolás Martín, Partnerships Manager at The FBA.
“This partnership allows us to not only strengthen our mission of fostering football leaders but also play a key role in advancing the development of women’s football in Portugal and internationally.”
Raquel Sampaio, Founder and CEO, Teammate Football Management, added: “At Teammate Football Management we care about the present and the future of our female players.
“That’s why this partnership with The FBA allows us not only to show Master’s students our methods, but also to provide the players with exclusive conditions to attend The FBA’s Master’s programme, presenting them with new opportunities for their post-career, so that they can continue in some way connected to the sport.”
Teammate Football Management’s mission is to elevate women’s football by providing athletes with the representation and support they deserve, ensuring their professional and personal growth within the sport.
With a client portfolio that includes top-tier female players like Ana Capeta, Dolores Silva, Fátima Pinto, Inés Pereira, and Lúcia Alves from the Portugal National Team, as well as coaches such as Gonçalo Nunes and Mariana Cabral, the agency delivers tailored career strategies to help clients thrive on and off the pitch.
The FBA’s Master Candidates will have the opportunity to engage with Teammate Football Management, learning from real-world cases, contributing to projects, and gaining practical insights into the growing women’s football landscape.
This partnership will also open doors for networking, internships, and professional opportunities, further enhancing The FBA’s commitment to equipping students with hands-on experience.
