The FBA Signs Partnership Agreement With USC Paredes
The Football Business Academy (FBA) has signed a new partnership agreement with União Sport Club de Paredes (USC Paredes), a sports club based in Paredes, in the Porto district of northern Portugal.
A special connection between The FBA and USC Paredes lies in the fact that two FBA Alumni, André Queirós and Cátia Silva, currently hold prominent roles at the club.
Nicolás Martín, Partnerships Manager at The FBA, said of the partnership: “It brings us great joy to see our alumni, André Queirós and Cátia Silva, thriving at USC Paredes. While the club is still developing, its ambitious goals and immense potential under the leadership of FBA graduates are clear.
“We are proud to support their journey and remain committed to fostering growth and excellence within our FBA family.”
André Queirós, General Manager, USC Paredes, added: “At USC Paredes, we are building a project and structure almost from scratch, preparing our team both on and off the field to reach higher competitive levels in the future.
“We are a century-old club striving to achieve greater goals through sustainability, innovation, professional development, and fostering closer connections with our local fans and organisations.
“This partnership with The FBA will play an important role in bringing the best global practices from the football industry, along with the added value of future leaders shaped by the excellence of this professional master’s program.”
Through this partnership, FBA Master Candidates will have the unique opportunity to engage directly with USC Paredes, contribute to their business plans and club management challenges, and develop Student Business Projects and internships.
While gaining hands-on experience and deepening their understanding of club management at a Portuguese level, USC Paredes will benefit from fresh talent and the opportunity to connect and find synergies within The FBA’s international partners network around the globe.
This collaboration reflects The FBA’s commitment to equipping its candidates with real-world opportunities in the dynamic football industry, continuing to bridge the gap between education and the demands of the global football ecosystem.
