The company beat off the competition to claim the award, recognising another stellar phase of growth across the 2024-25 season.

Having launched 60+ products in the last 12 months, Urban Zoo are the number one digital platform in UK football, supplying services to 60+ clubs in the Premier League, EFL and beyond.

Chris Grannell, Urban Zoo CEO, said: “This award is the result of a real team effort and vindicates the direction we are heading in as a business.

“This could not have been achieved without the unwavering support of our staff and also our existing clients, from the clubs who came on board right at the start of our journey to those who have joined more recently.

“We thank them for their faith and trust and look forward to the future with confidence.”

Urban Zoo’s chief commercial officer, Rob Moore, added: “It’s a really exciting time for Urban Zoo, and the announcements we have coming up over the next few months will only add to that.

“Our dedicated team work hard day in, day out for our clubs, and our thanks go to them.”

The company’s journey in football began in 2015 and has gone from strength to strength, accelerating through the Covid lockdown period into the largest football market share of any provider in the UK.

Urban Zoo’s commercial approach is pioneering and increasingly imitated. Clubs can subscribe to all required digital services ‘out of the box’ from a single provider, reducing both cost and overhead.

Pioneering a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) model, Urban Zoo eliminates the traditional, costly ‘one big build’ approach, instead offering a continuously evolving platform with new features and optimisations at no extra cost. This tailored, club-centric approach is the product of over a decade of direct collaboration with UK football clubs.
