fcbusiness pays its respects to Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha and the four others that died in the helicopter crash at the King Power stadium on Saturday evening.

We wish to send our thoughts and prayers to the families of all those involved and to the fans, players and staff of Leicester City Football Club.

Under Mr Srivaddhanaprabha’s ownership, Leicester City were reborn and made the seemingly impossible, possible when they won the Premier League title in 2016.

His enthusiasm and dedication along with his unwavering support for the club made him stand out among club owners and transformed the fortunes of the club.

He allowed the club to dream big and achieve great things on the pitch whilst connecting with fans and the people of Leicester City.  He will be greatly missed.
