Bradford City AFC Benefitting From Ticketmaster Partnership

Bradford City AFC’s Director of Ticketing and Supporter Services, Marco Townson discusses the club’s partnership with Ticketmaster

Bradford City AFC is partnering with Ticketmaster in a multi-year deal to bring a new digitally-focused ticketing system that will benefit the fans.

With the new technology The Bantams will see a better customer journey with an improved online experience, as well as greater control of how their tickets are managed. With a big focus on digital, the club aims to reduce queuing on matchdays.

Bradford City’s Director of Ticketing and Supporter Services Marco Townson comments that he’s “delighted to have Ticketmaster as their official partner.”

He added: “This partnership will undoubtedly enhance the fan experience and ensure that our supporters have easy access to tickets.”

The rollout includes a ‘Select your own seat’ option, that will allow fans to choose their ideal matchday spots. All tickets will now be available to purchase digitally for both home and away fixtures, including season tickets.

Townson explains that Bradford City will be looking forward to using Ticketmaster’s analytics tool to better understand their fans and give the club the “opportunity to grow as a business.”

Chris Gratton, Managing Director at Ticketmaster Sport, adds: “After spending time understanding the challenges and opportunities at Bradford City, we feel well-placed to bring our platforms and technologies to the club to support them in unlocking new ways to engage with fans to drive higher engagement and long-term revenue growth.”
