Celtic FC Launches Ticketmaster’s Virtual Venue Technology

Celtic FC launches Ticketmaster’s Virtual Venue technology in a big step to further enhance their fan experience and help bring supporters from around the world closer to the club.

The technology allows anyone to digitally visualise Celtic Park in an immersive 3D experience from wherever they are on any device.

There are now 360-degree views of the entire ground, providing a unique life-like view from anywhere in the stadium. This makes the whole experience of finding seats ahead of coming to a game easy and seamless.

Angela Forbes, Head of Ticketing at Celtic FC, explains: “We are always looking for different ways to enhance fan experience and connect with supporters around the world. With our virtual Celtic Park, fans can immerse themselves in the stadium, regardless of their location.

“This will not only make finding seats ahead of a matchday easier and more convenient, but it will also enable supporters from anywhere in the world to explore Paradise.”

Chris Gratton, Managing Director at Ticketmaster Sport, added: “Developing Virtual Venue for Celtic Park is another step in elevating the fan experience. It’s one of the most popular tools used by our clients to bring a new perspective of the stadium to life.”

Launching Virtual Venue is the latest innovation that Celtic FC are using in maximising the tools Ticketmaster has to offer to enhance the ticketing experience for fans.

More than 300 teams and venues worldwide have integrated the solution since originally launching at Yankee Stadium, the home of Major League Baseball’s New York Yankees.
