EFL Clubs To Support Level Playing Field’s Weeks Of Action

EFL clubs, Disabled Supporters Associations (DSAs) and fans will come together over the coming weeks to support Level Playing Field’s Weeks of Action.

From 29 February to 15 March, clubs will show their commitment to access and inclusion through an array of matchday and non-matchday activities that showcase the good work taking place across the League to improve the experience for disabled supporters attending any EFL fixture.

Disabled people are the largest minority group in any population. With sport having such a unique capacity to bring people together and the positive impact watching live sport has, accessible and inclusive stadia are essential for disabled people to participate fully within our society.

A series of videos have been created by the EFL, in partnership with Level Playing Field, to display the good work taking place at Clubs.

Since 2016, the ‘Every Player Counts’ programme, an EFL Trust project funded by Wembley National Stadium Trust, has attracted over 11,000 new participants into disability football and in December, the project received a further £0.5m donation to support the programme delivery in its fourth successive year.

You can get involved in the Weeks of Action campaign by posting your messages of support on Twitter (@lpftweets) and Facebook (/lpftweets) using the hashtag #WeeksOfAction.
