The new project will be based in Morelia, Michoacán, and delivered in partnership with Universidad Montrer, which Inter says shares the Academy programme’s focus on growth, respect and education through an inclusive model centred on social responsibility.

Activities will begin in Spring 2026, initially introducing Inter’s coaching methodology to high school students already involved in Montrer’s football programme. The Academy will then expand in the summer with a series of camps for boys and girls aged five to 17, led by Inter Academy coaches from Italy.

Inter said the move will help strengthen its presence in a market with a strong football culture and growing relevance for the club, with Mexico ranked as Inter’s third-largest fanbase in the Americas and more than half of its local supporters coming from younger generations.

The club added that the launch of Inter Academy Montrer MX supports its wider global mission to contribute to the development and education of young players, both on and off the pitch, while further reinforcing its footprint in Latin America.
