World Football Summit and LaLiga have signed an the agreement by which LaLiga becomes Global Partner of World Football Summit, Spain`s leading international event for the football industry which will be held for its second consecutive year in Madrid on the 16th  and 17th  of October.

 

Javier Tebas, President of LaLiga and Gregorio Cebrián, CEO of World Football Summit, have signed the agreement at LaLiga`s headquarters.

 

Within this framework of collaboration, LaLiga acquires a leading role in all activities related to WFS. Amongst them, the participation of Javier Tebas stands out with a keynote speech in which he will showcase his vision on the football industry. For their part, WFS, as an international event of reference and a meeting point for the football industry, will become as a platform to promote and give greater visibility both to LaLiga and its clubs outside its borders.

 

During the signing of the agreement, Gregorio Cebrián highlighted that “for WFS it is great news that LaLiga is strongly supporting our Congress as Global Partner, which will allow us not only to share knowledge and debate about the football industry but also work on common actions in strategic markets.”

 

Javier Tebas on the other hand noted that: “We are delighted to collaborate with WFS, and the work that is being done to improve the event each year is excellent. For LaLiga it is important to showcase our work at this Summit where the best representatives of the football and sports industry gather. We want to actively participate and promote the growth of the sports industry “.

 

This second edition will be attended by over 2,200 attendees from 70 different countries who will listen to over 60 first-rate speakers tackling top topics in the football industry such as TV rights, Fan Engagement or Innovation and new technologies in stadiums. In addition, attendees will enjoy parallel presentations of success stories in football and practical presentations of Clubs with their suppliers.

 

World Football Summit will also have an Expo Area where companies and institutions will present their products and services, as well as a large space for networking, so that attendees can get to know each other and interact.

 

So far more than 200 companies and personalities have confirmed their participation at this important event that will make Madrid the football capital of the world.
