Leicester City Launch LCFC Ban Khao Tao Collection
Leicester City has launched a new LCFC Ban Khao Tao clothing collection which aims to highlight the beauty of Thailand’s hand-woven textiles.
Featuring the football club’s iconic fox, the collection, which is part of the King Power Thai Power project, includes streetwear inspired clothing, accessories and lifestyle products.
Based on belief in the power of Thai people and the power of possibilities, the collection highlights the local wisdom in hand-woven textiles, which have been passed on for generations by locals at Ban Khao Tao Handicraft Centre, taking their expertise to an international level.
It forms part of the King Power Thai Power project, which aims to give back to society on individual, community, national and international levels through three core pillars: Sport Power, Music Power and Community Power.
It also focuses on sustainability to drive Thailand forward in economic, social and environmental times, with King Power Group partnering with Leicester City and communities around Thailand to develop Thai products as special souvenirs.
Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, CEO of King Power Group and Leicester City chairman, said: “The partnership among King Power, Leicester City and the community reflects the power of possibilities.
“Every party joins forces to take Thai products to an international level, which helps keep alive the Thai way of life and promote local wisdom in various parts of the country, thereby strengthening communities and leading to better quality of life.”
