Film for the “Conquer Your Dream” movement motivates Portugal´s national football team, including captain Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of the World Cup in Russia.

The Portuguese Football Federation (FPF), the governing body for Euro Finals 2016 cup winners Portugal, has released a video that highlights Portuguese values, the bedrock for the players’ attitude during the World Cup.

The FPF released the video for the senior Portuguese football team as part of the “Conquer Your Dream” movement, which was born to unite the fans throughout the world around the team during the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Launched on Day of Portugal, Camões and the Portuguese Communities the film is inspired by traditional Portuguese sayings that have been around since the Age of Discoveries that translates into the teams’ performance on the pitch and people in their everyday lives off-pitch.

Grounded in reverence for the history of the country, the film translates the Portuguese identity to football by including all 23 players and the coach Fernando Santos, who embody the ability to overcome great odds.

Portugal debut in the FIFA World Cup 2018 is scheduled for the 15th of June in Sochi against Spain (7pm UK time), followed by a match with Morocco in Moscow (June 20th, 1pm UK time) and Iran, in Saransk (June 25th, 7pm UK time).
