Portuguese Football Federation Launches On Alibaba Tmall

The Portuguese Football Federation has launched an Official National Team Store to the Chinese market through the ecommerce platform Alibaba Tmall.



The store will give Chinese fans the opportunity to purchase Portugal national team official merchandise offering quality products, premium design and personalised services for this Asian market.


With a long history, impressive achievements and great players, the Portuguese national team has around 10 million fans in China.


The launch of the Official Store in China will enhance not only the connection of the national team with those fans, but provide the opportunity to continue to inspire and serve fans of the national team with new experiences and exclusive products.


Nuno Moura, CMO of the Portugal´s Football Federation, said: “Portugal and China have a historical connection dating back to the 16th century that, in addition to trade, allowed for the mutual exchange of knowledge in a diversity of areas as well as artistic and cultural influences.


“We are absolutely committed to following this path, now also through football. We hope that our team can inspire a new generation of young Chinese footballers to reach their full potential and continue to delight our millions of fans in China who, despite the distance, are constantly showing their support which our players value so deeply.


“With the launch of the Official Flagship Store in the Chinese market, we will be able to be even closer to our fans and provide a premium experience, tailored specifically to them.
