Premier Sports Network have announced the return of the London and Manchester Player Care events for 2017, in addition to a brand new three-day Old Course, St. Andrews Golf Retreat.

The invite-only Premier Sports Network events are held for a community of leading sports executives working in the areas of Player Care and the Fan Experience to meet and discuss best practice.

Held on 3rd May Player Care Manchester will see the player support network meet to examine the challenges facing professional athletes and their advisors, including safeguarding from abuse, social media management, player security, working with relatives and co-ordinating Host Families.

Player Care London on 18th October will have a more international feel, with members of the player support network from across Europe discussing topics such as preparing athletes for life after retirement, gambling, travel planning and safety, and the view from the boardroom.

Old Course, St. Andrews Golf Tour is a new event for 2017 and will see Player Welfare VIPs and a select number of partners travel to the home of golf from 8th-10th October. It will be the perfect chance to network and discuss best-practice strategies in a fun and relaxed environment.

“Now in its third year, the Premier Sports Network has become the number one destination for professionals from the player support network to meet and exchange ideas,” said David Bull, Premier Sports Network Executive Director.

“We’re really excited for 2017, and the introduction of the Golf Tour is the result of our commitment to identifying new and inventive ways to bring members of the Player Care network, and our partners, together across the course of the year.”

The Premier Sports Network Fan Experience Seminar will also return to London towards the end of the year. Date, location and event topics will be announced soon.
