The light and dark blue quarters of Wycombe Wanderers will carry a new name next season as the club joins forces with Irish sportswear manufacturer, O’Neills.

The partnership sees O’Neills make their first venture into the English Football League, having made their name predominantly in Gaelic football and rugby, and sees them team up with the Chairboys as official kit supplier on a three-year deal.

Wanderers will reveal their new kit designs for the first time at Adams Park on Sunday 10th July, with a range of training wear and leisure wear also to be launched ahead of the 2016/17 season.

Damian Irvine, Head of Commercial Activities at Wycombe Wanderers, said: “This is an exciting time for us to welcome on board a new kit supplier who have displayed real passion and commitment to providing the best service to the club and our supporters.

“For us, this was an exhaustive process to find the right deal, and we were involved in discussions with a dozen world-class suppliers who all expressed an interest in working with us.

“O’Neills stood out as the perfect partner for us in all core areas we were looking for and have come up with designs which we are confident will be a real hit with our supporters, retaining the traditions of the light and dark blue quarters for the home kit, and creating designs of real class for our change kit, goalkeeper strips and training wear.”

Susie Robertson, UK Sales Manager with O’Neills, said: “The team at O’Neills are delighted to be working with Wycombe Wanderers, our first Football League club, and are looking forward to getting the partnership underway in style with the launch on 10th July.

“We have huge respect for the club’s values as a supporter-owned operation and we are very proud to be supplying their sportswear for the next three years at least. They have an iconic kit in English football and it is a privilege for us to be working with them as their official kit supplier.”
