Derby County Extends Ticketing Partnership With SeatGeek

Founded in 2009, SeatGeek is the leading mobile-focused ticket platform enabling fans to buy and sell tickets for sports, concerts and theatre events.

Now entering its sixth season with the club, and with more than 21,000 full Season Tickets already bought for the 2019/20 season, Rams supporters will continue to benefit from SeatGeek’s online ticketing system combining ticketing, membership and season ticket payment plan solutions.

The system also allows for greater flexibility and clarity when selling tickets through SeatGeek’s SRO software platform.

Dave Biggar, Derby County’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “We’re delighted to have extended both the term and scope of our agreement with SeatGeek which now includes the rebranding of the club’s ticket office.

“As the leading mobile-focused ticket platform, Rams supporters will also benefit from SeatGeek’s ongoing technical upgrades ensuring an even more reliable, convenient and secure ticket purchasing process.”

Peter Joyce, Managing Director, SeatGeek Sport EMEA added: “SeatGeek and Derby County have enjoyed an excellent partnership over the past five years which has seen a huge transformation in the club’s ticketing solutions and services with excellent feedback from the club’s fans throughout this journey.

“Derby County have stood out as a flagship client for SeatGeek during this period with the club’s management team always keen to explore new technologies and drive innovation for the benefit of supporters.

“This six-year partnership extension is testament to the trust both parties have built and is a fantastic opportunity to further expand on the great work carried out to date.

“We are delighted to have incorporated the Ticket Office sponsorship into our agreement to showcase SeatGeek’s solutions to the wider football community and focus on the great work carried out at Derby County.”
