Crystal Palace Fans Choose SunExpress Aircraft Design

Crystal Palace FC fans have chosen an aircraft livery design for SunExpress, a joint venture of Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, following a fan vote that invited Palace supporters to choose between two bespoke concepts.

The special livery is part of SunExpress’s multi-year agreement as Official Airline Partner of Crystal Palace.

The club’s fans have had the opportunity to vote for their favourite design, choosing between two bespoke concepts: “The Eagle” and “The Sash”. With voting now closed, “The Eagle” has been confirmed as the winner, securing 87% of the total votes.

This design will now be brought to life by SunExpress on one of their Boeing 737-8 aircraft, TC-SMF, which will be officially unveiled in March before operating across SunExpress’s extensive route network, including on flights from London Gatwick.

Helmut Wölfel, Commercial Director at SunExpress, said: “We’re proud to be the exclusive airline partner of Crystal Palace, and it’s been fantastic to give fans the chance to see their club represented on one of our aircraft.

“This focused on placing supporters at the centre of the partnership and allowing their voices to shape a visible outcome, reflecting the club’s South London roots and strong sense of community.

“With our year-round direct flights from Gatwick, Luton and Stansted to destinations across Türkiye, this aircraft will carry our shared connection to Crystal Palace and London across our network.”

Barry Webber, Commercial Director at Crystal Palace FC, added: “We’re thrilled that our supporters have been at the heart of bringing this aircraft to life. ‘The Eagle’ perfectly captures the spirit and identity of our club, and seeing it soar across Europe in partnership with SunExpress marks a proud moment for Crystal Palace. We can’t wait for fans to see the stunning new livery take to the skies.”

Since August 2025, SunExpress has been the exclusive airline partner of Crystal Palace. The partnership includes comprehensive branding in the stadium as well as joint marketing activities and fan campaigns.

The aircraft livery represents a highlight of the partnership, by giving fans the opportunity to have their voices heard and see their chosen design take to the skies.
