Everton’s Official Forex and Brokerage Partner Blackwell Global has today launched its first ever television advertising campaign, showing a series of the Club’s players trying their hand at online trading.

Airing globally on the Bloomberg network, the ‘#BluesChallenge Demo Trading Competition’ television adverts will encourage traders of all levels to challenge the likes of Wayne Rooney, Jordan Pickford, Morgan Schneiderlin, Yannick Bolasie, Phil Jagielka and Leighton Baines in a free demo trading competition as the Blues stars join as active competitors.

The Blackwell Global campaign website will feature more details about the trading styles of all six Everton competitors, their respective biographies and an extended leaderboard as well as more information on the #BluesChallenge and registration details.

Everton Football Club agreed a multi-year partnership with Blackwell Global in June, giving the international multi-awarding forex trading and brokerage company a presence within the stadium on matchdays to increase awareness of its products in both the UK and overseas markets. The deal will also see Blackwell Global offer exciting Everton-related experiences for supporters and their global client base with the ‘#BluesChallenge Demo Trading Competition’ being the first of these experiences.

Teaming up with a Premier League club as an Official Partner has enabled Blackwell Global to promote its products to a wider demographic and utilising the Club’s first-team players such as Wayne Rooney, England’s all-time record-goalscorer, provides the forex trading and brokerage company with a competitive edge and advantage over its rivals in the market.

Running online from Monday 6 November until Friday 8 December, the competition has no barriers to entry with both experienced traders and newbies able to compete to be in with a chance of winning the top prize of USD5000 in cash as well as two VIP tickets for the upcoming visit of Manchester United to Goodison Park.

Patrick Latchford , CEO of Blackwell Global UK, said: “We want to show that even football players with limited trading experience can enjoy and understand our industry with proper trading tools and education. In many ways, football is similar to trading – you’ve got to maintain a cool head, stay calm under pressure, stick to the strategy, and most importantly, you have to figure out what goal you’re trying to achieve with your trades.”

Demo trading replicates the live trading environment as closely as possible by using the same active price feeds as their live counterparts, meaning you can experience the fluctuations of the market using a forex demo account without risking any capital.

Founded in 2010, the Blackwell Global group of companies offer investment solutions for private and institutional clients. Traders have the opportunity to access trading services and products ranging from foreign exchange, CFDs, metals, global stocks, options and futures markets. Through Blackwell Global’s fully integrated trading platforms, users receive superior liquidity, 24-hour technical support, market research tools and the educational materials required to make an informed decision.
